A+ Certification Courses
To Stay Competitive in Today's Economy, Certification is Essential
The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for computer support technicians. This international, vendor-neutral certification, is recognized globally and establishes competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting. The CompTIA A+ exam was just updated and reflects changes in technologies and covers the latest skills needed by IT Technicians.
As of January 1, 2011, CompTIA A+ certification is valid for three years from the date the candidate becomes certified. A "valid through" date will appear on all certificates and certificate holder CompTIA ID cards. You can read CompTIA President and CEO Todd Thibodeaux's message on the certification renewal policy here. Individuals who certified on or before December 31, 2010 in CompTIA A+ will retain their "certified for life" status. You can find out more about the changes and what it entails here.
