  The Advanced SQL for DB2 course is just that: advanced. As such it has rather stringent prerequisites. Those with experience in DB2 can take the SQL Self-Test and see how well they do. Then they can decide whether or not to enroll in SQL Fundamentals for DB2 first. There are, however, several overlapping modules between the two courses. To put a positive spin on this, the more exposure to these shared topics, the better. Nevertheless, this radio show explains what the overlapping topics are, where they came from, and how best to prepare for taking both courses if that is your desire.
