{"id":2161,"date":"2023-01-11T09:55:38","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T16:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gogotraining.com\/blog\/?p=2161"},"modified":"2023-01-11T10:42:11","modified_gmt":"2023-01-11T17:42:11","slug":"peoplecert-releases-recertification-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gogotraining.com\/blog\/2023\/01\/peoplecert-releases-recertification-program\/","title":{"rendered":"PeopleCert Releases Recertification Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gogotraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/ITILRecertification900x300.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2173\" src=\"http:\/\/gogotraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/ITILRecertification900x300.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As of January 1, 2023 PeopleCert instituted a Certification Renewal program which applies to all PeopleCert certifications, all students and all trainers.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>All certifications will need to be renewed after three (3) years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>If you certified before 30 June 2020:<\/strong>\u00a0you will have until 1 July 2023\u00a0to renew your certification, regardless of when you were awarded the certification.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>If certified after June 2020<\/strong>: you will have to renew your certification(s) within 3 years of the original award date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Recertification Paths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 15 January 2023 to 28 February 2023\u00a0there are two\u00a0renewal paths are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Retake the same exam<\/strong>:\u00a0You can pay and\u00a0re-take the original exam before the renewal date.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Take further courses and certifications:<\/strong> You can renew certification by attending another course and taking an exam within the same product suite before the renewal date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From March 1, 2023, a third renewal path will be available to candidates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Collect and log CPD points<\/strong>: You can collect and log 20 CPD points by accruing Professional Development Points (CDP\u2019s) on the MyAxelos membership program.\u00a0 More details on this path will follow in sometime this month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Successful Candidate Register<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you receive certification,\u00a0your name will be included in the Successful Candidates Register (SCR) and the Candidate Verification Service.\u00a0\u00a0If you elect not to recertify, a note will be added to their record to indicate that their certification needs to be renewed to align with current certification requirements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of January 1, 2023 PeopleCert instituted a Certification Renewal program which applies to all PeopleCert certifications, all students and all trainers.\u00a0\u00a0All certifications will need to be renewed after three (3) years.
