• How To on LUKS (CentOS is equivalent to RedHat) – found at http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/EncryptedFilesystem
• The ext4 filesystem type with additional features including support for very large filesystems – found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ext4
