Course Description
This Oracle online training course, Part 1 of a two-part series, explains Oracle's Real Application Clusters (RAC) and provides a detailed look at installing and configuring Oracle's RAC environment. This RAC online training covers topics such as system requirements, tuning, troubleshooting, utilities and architecture.
In order to take this course you need to have taken Oracle 10g/11g Database Administration I Part 1 and Part 2, Oracle 10g/11g Database Administration II Part 1 and Part 2 or have intermediate to advanced Oracle database administrative skills.
Once you have completed Oracle Real Application Clusters Part 1 the next course in this series is Oracle Real Application Clusters Part 2. Presented in the Oracle Real Application Clusters Part 2 course is advanced topics including how to administer the RAC environment. This RAC training course also covers how to implement RAC in a virtual environment. Click here to learn more about Oracle Real Application Clusters Part 2.
