Michael Ward
Michael Ward has over 10 years of experience with BusinessObjects. He provides consulting and training services to customers throughout the world. He is a frequently requested speaker at BusinessObjects User Group Meetings throughout North America. Most recently, Michael presented at the BusinessObjects International User Group Meeting in Dallas, where he did 2 major presentations. Michael Ward has over 26 years of FOCUS experience and over 25 years in consulting and training. He has operating systems experience on a variety of platforms, including VM/CMS, MVS/TSO, VAX/VMS, AS/400, HP/UNIX, SQL/Server, PC/DOS, Windows NT/Server and many others. For over three (3) years, from its inception, he was a presenter of a variety of topics at the Top Gun School for High Performance. He taught all levels of FOCUS training classes, and was also a Train-The-Trainer. Because of Michael’s extensive application experience and FOCUS technical skills, he provided high level consulting throughout the Midwest. Michael has also worked with the FOCUS interface to DB2, SQL/DS, RDB, TERADATA, ORACLE, AS/400, and other products. He is a certified ORACLE Master in Application Development. He also has training and application experience in CACTUS/WebFOCUS.
He has spoken to numerous FOCUS user groups throughout the country, and has also been heavily involved with training organizations throughout the Midwest. Michael has done training presentations many times to the Detroit Area Trainers Association and the Northern Ohio Data Trainers Association. He has also spoken at the national FUSE Conference several times. At the 1993 FUSE Conference in Atlanta, Michael was voted “Best Session”. He was the keynote speaker for the Detroit Area Trainers Association all day symposium several years ago. He has received numerous references from customers throughout the country. Michael holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
Michael is a major supporter of Community Living Toronto, an organization that support intellectually (and physically) challenged adults. He sponsors annual overnight trips for groups from Toronto to attend various sporting events in the Detroit area, and helps cover the costs for the groups.
